This was the first comedy that Laurel and Hardy starred in without producer Hal Roach, although they had previously been "guest stars" in four MGM movies.
After they finished making "The Flying Deuces," they returned to Hal Roach Studios to make films.

In order to make this movie, producer Boris Morros bought the rights to the 1931 French film "Les deux legionnaires," which had a similar plot. "The Flying Deuces" was Morros' first independent production and it was shot in continuity over a span of four weeks.
Only one day was reportedly needed for retakes.
The French original starred Fernandel and Noel Noel.

SYNOPSIS:
Ollie is in love with a woman. When he find out that she is already married, he tries to kill himself. Of course, the suicide is prevented and the boys join the Foreign Legion to get away from their troubles. Eventually, they are arrested for trying to desert the Legion and escape the firing squad by stealing a plane.

Time for another B scifi treat!

Dr. Roger Girard is a rich scientist conducting experiments on head transplantation. His caretaker has a son, Danny, who, although fully grown, has the mind of child. One day an escaped psycho-killer invades Girard's home, killing Danny's father before being gunned down himself. With the maniac dying and Danny deeply unsettled by his father's death, Dr. Girard decides to take the final step and transplant the killer's head onto Danny's body. Of course, things go horribly wrong and the two-headed creature escapes to terrorize the countryside.

In retrospect, The Incredible 2-Heaed Transplant has been mostly overshadowed by its blaxoploitation companion piece from the following year, The Thing with Two Heads. This is, to some extent, understandable; I myself admit to a slight preference for the latter movie, and the blaxploitation angle certainly makes The Thing with Two Heads stand out from the two-headed-guy movie crowd in a way that The Incredible 2-Headed Transplant does not. But there really ought to be room in the hearts and minds of schlock-lovers for both films, and in that light, the eclipse of the earlier flick is unfortunate. For not only is The Incredible 2-Headed Transplant the prototype, it also has an entertainment advantage its younger brother lacks: The Thing with Two Heads has a certain cockeyed logic to it, while the underlying premise of this movie makes no damn sense at all.

An unauthorized production of Bram Stoker's work (The legal heirs didn't give their permission), so the names had to be changed. But this wasn't enough: The widow of Bram Stoker won two lawsuits (1924 and 1929) in which she demanded the destruction of all copies of the movie, however happily copies of it were already too widespread to destroy them all. Later, Universal studios could break her resistance against this movie. Count Orlok's move to Wisburg (Obviously the real "Wismar") brings the plague traceable to his dealings with the Realtor Thomas Hutter, and the Count's obsession with Hutter's wife, Ellen the only one with the power to end the evil.

Filmed at night during the same time as the Bela Lugosi version , the spanish crew had the advantage of reviewing the american version dailies and improve upon every scene shot for shot . The crw were also allowed the extreme advantage of not being shackled by american censors so could provide more horror , more sex , and a longer filme by approximately 15 minutes . Far superior to the Browning/Lugosi version , this film is indeed an awesome treat... lost for 70 years , and personally retrieved from cuba by David Skald , film historian and author , this version of Dracula is not to be passed up .

In MKV format , with subtitles , this format works best with DivxPlayer..

This is an autoplay disc with no menu , ripped straight from my dvd , it does however contain subtitles.... you will need to access your media (or DVD Player) menu to access them , as an example ,i use Windows Media Player , and right click where it says DVD (by the play button) to open up the player menu options and open "Captions" and TaDa - subtitles appear.....

Stingray is a children's marionette television show, created by Gerry and Sylvia Anderson and produced by AP Films for ATV and ITC Entertainment from 1964–65. Its 39 half-hour episodes were originally screened on ITV in the UK and in syndication in the USA. The scriptwriters included Gerry and Sylvia Anderson, Alan Fennell, and Dennis Spooner. Barry Gray composed the music, and Derek Meddings was the special effects director.

Stingray was the first Supermarionation show to be filmed in colour, and also the first in which marionettes had interchangeable heads with different facial expressions. It was also the first British television programme to be filmed entirely in colour (the earlier series The Adventures of Sir Lancelot had been made in colour from halfway through its run). At that time the US stations were gearing up for full-time colour broadcasting, although Independent Television in Britain did not begin colour transmission until November 1969.

Supercar had featured a vehicle that could travel on land, sea and air, and Fireball XL5 had featured a spaceship. The next logical step was a series about a submarine, which presented a number of technical challenges.

Scenes featuring model submarines or marionettes underwater were actually filmed on a dry set, with the camera looking through a narrow water tank containing air bubblers and fish of different sizes to simulate perspective, thereby creating a convincing illusion that the models or puppets were underwater. This was enhanced with lighting effects that gave the impression of shafts of light refracted through the surface of the sea.

Scenes on the ocean's surface were filmed using a large tank filled with water and blue dye. To prevent the edges of the tank from showing it was deliberately overfilled so that the water would constantly spill over the edges and conceal them. These techniques proved so successful that they were also used for underwater scenes in Thunderbirds and Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons.

The show's 39 episodes were filmed as three blocks (or series) of thirteen episodes each, as ITC boss Lew Grade was accustomed to ordering further batches of 13 shows each as need demanded, as he had done on the earlier Anderson shows Four Feather Falls, Supercar and Fireball XL5 (all of which also ran to 39 episodes).

CREEPY CLASSICS begins with a psychologist talking about 1959's HORRORS OF THE BLACK MUSEUM, informing us it was filmed in "Hypno Vista...the most fantastic advance ever to be made in motion picture entertainment!" Then it cuts to everyone's favorite campy charmer Vincent Price as he sits in a old movie theater making comments about a compilation of clips from classic vintage horror and science fiction movies of the 50s and 60s. There are over two minutes worth of clips apiece from INVASION OF THE BODY SNATCHERS (1956), I WAS A TEENAGE WEREWOLF (1957) and NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD (1968) and a running gag is made out of Christopher Lee's battle with the disembodied hand in DR. TERROR'S HOUSE OF HORRORS (1965). We also get the trailer for, and some funny scenes from, THE RAVEN (1963), the great pendulum scene from THE PIT AND THE PENDULUM (1961), and trailers for ATTACK OF THE PUPPET PEOPLE (1958), THE BLOB (1958), THE SCREAMING SKULL (1958), WAR OF THE COLOSSAL BEAST (1958), DINOSAURUS! (1960), GORGO (1961) and THE DAY OF THE TRIFFIDS (1962). And that's about it in this harmless enough half hour view. Not much ground is actually covered here, and die-hard horror fans have seen most - if not all - of these trailers and clips before, though when this was released back in 1987 that probably wasn't the case as I'm sure many of these movies were difficult to find. Price being the host, of course, helps considerably and makes this of more interest than it otherwise would be. He's full of his usual enthusiasm, makes some hilarious facial expressions and gets plenty of cheesy one-liners. After watching a zombie eating a bug he comments "Kind of makes you want to go to the refreshment stand, doesn't it?" After seeing the triffids in action; "Kind of makes you want to start watering your rhododendrons, doesn't it?" So if you're a Price fan, this'll be a half hour well spent.(IMDB comment)

I thought some may get a kick out of this.

The pilot episode was not broadcast because of casting changes and restructuring of characters. In the pilot, the part of the Professor was played by John Gabriel. Instead of the movie star and the Kansas farm girl, the pilot had two secretaries: Ginger, a practical redhead played by Kit Smythe, and Bunny, portrayed by Nancy McCarthy as a cheerful, stereotypical "dumb blonde".

The pilot had a different theme song by John Williams, with a Calypso beat and singer and a slightly longer opening credits, including brief shots of Gilligan carrying the Howells' luggage to the boat and spilling coffee on the Skipper during the storm. The episode proper begins with the castaways waking up on the beached boat and deals mostly with practical problems: exploring the island, trying to fix the transmitter, building huts and finding food. Contrary to some descriptions, there are no detailed accounts of the characters' backgrounds.

The plot for the pilot episode would eventually be recycled into that season's Christmas episode, "Birds Gotta Fly, Fish Gotta Talk," in which the story of the pilot episode, concerning the practical problems on landing, is related through a series of flashbacks. Footage featuring characters that had been recast was reshot using the current actors. For scenes including only Denver, Hale, Backus, and Schafer the original footage was reused.

Circus Boy is an American action/adventure/drama series that aired in prime time on both NBC and ABC from 1956 to 1958. It was then rerun by NBC on Saturday mornings.
After his parents, "The Flying Falcons", were killed in a trapeze accident, young Corky (Mickey Braddock, later known as Micky Dolenz of The Monkees) was adopted by Uncle Joey the Clown (Noah Beery, Jr.), and the whole Burke and Walsh Circus family. The young lad quickly found a role in the circus as water boy to Bimbo, a baby elephant whom Corky would come to consider his pet. Riding Bimbo's back, Corky dealt with adolescent problems, and helped the show's adults, including owner Big Tim Champion (Robert Lowery) and head canvasman Pete (Guinn Williams), keep the circus in the black as the show moved from town to town each week.

Hawkeye and the Last of the Mohicans is a 1957 Western television series made for syndication by ITC Entertainment and Normandie Productions. It ran for one season of 39 half-hour monochrome episodes.

Loosely based on The Last of the Mohicans by James Fenimore Cooper, the series was released under several different names, including Hawkeye and The Last of the Mohicans.

The series was set in New York's Hudson Valley in the 1750s but was filmed in Canada.^[1] The end credits state that the series was filmed in Canada with the cooperation of The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation.

The series had a more realistic view of the American West than most series of the times. The settlers were rough and dressed in old but suitable clothes for the long hard winters in the small settlements of the new frontier. The Indians were more realistically portrayed too, as an intelligent people with good and bad individuals among them. Fights in the film needed more than just the odd blow as the opponents hit hard at each other, and torture was used in a number of episodes. Weapons used were normally single shot rifles and tomahawks (which often ended up in someone's back). Furs were often a motive of crime as they were the currency of the northern settlements.

Mistake: In the episode "Washington Story", Stan Francis played a young George Washington but in the end credits, he is named as Benjamin Franklin (this might be a mistake limited to the home video edit taking the end credits from a different episode).

A reporter who has had an affair with the daughter of the U.S. President is sent to Hungary. There he is bitten by a werewolf, and then gets transferred back to Washington, where he gets a job as press assistant to the President. Then bodies start turning up in D.C.

The Cube was an hour-long teleplay that aired on NBC's weekly anthology television show NBC Experiment in Television on February 23, 1969. The production was produced and directed by puppeteer Jim Henson, and was one of several experiments with the live-action film medium which he conducted in the 1960s, before focusing entirely on the Muppets and other puppet works. The screenplay was co-written by long-time Muppet writer Jerry Juhl (who also appears in a cameo).

The teleplay starred Richard Schaal as a man trapped in a cubical white room that anyone else could enter and leave, but which he himself apparently could not leave. The main character, simply named "The Man," is subjected to an increasingly puzzling and frustrating series of encounters as a variety of people come through various hidden doors. But as many remind him, he can only leave through his own door, so he must find it.
